Why we install Fogstar
1. LiFePO4 chemistry done properly
Every Fogstar battery we install uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells. LiFePO4 is the chemistry of choice for stationary home storage: it's safer than older lithium-ion formulations, tolerant of wide temperature ranges, and — critically — rated for thousands of charge cycles before meaningful capacity loss. A well-specified LiFePO4 pack will outlast most of the other components in your solar system.
Fogstar specifies grade-A cells in their residential packs and publishes clear datasheets, meaning the numbers you see at quotation match the numbers you'll measure on install. That isn't always the case at the value end of the battery market, and it matters.
